National Dance Company Wales are joining forces for the first time with English National Ballet and Scottish Ballet in a celebration of dance inspired by the 2012 London Olympics.
Appearing in Glasgow and Cardiff before making its way to London for the opening of the games, Dance GB sees each of the companies perform a specially commissioned work by one of three international choreographers taking part in the project. Celebrating the athleticism, diversity and skill of the dancers, the collaboration is a unique opportunity for audiences to experience the best of British dance on the Donald Gordon Theatre stage.
National Dance Company Wales will perform a new work by Christopher Bruce, Itzik Galili is creating a piece for English National Ballet, and Martin Lawrance will be collaborating with Scottish Ballet.
